See the menuSlow-roasted pork, whole lamb and freshly grilled BBQ for London offices, gardens, sports clubs and community events, with the logistics planned before we set off.

London is a different kind of job from a field in the Home Counties, and we plan it that way. The events are just as good — staff summer parties on a courtyard, fortieth birthdays in a long back garden, rugby-club presentation nights, street parties, school fairs — but getting a hog roast machine to them means thinking about loading bays, resident parking, the Ultra Low Emission Zone and, for some addresses, the Congestion Charge.
Once we're there, it's the full service. The pork or lamb is cooked on site and carved to order, the BBQ goes on shortly before service, and we bring the salads, breads, sauces and sides that make it a meal rather than a snack. We staff the counter, keep the queue moving and take everything away afterwards, including our rubbish. If a full machine won't suit the space, we'll say so and suggest a BBQ menu or a carved service that fits.

We cover every part of London. Start with a region, or jump straight to one of the areas we're asked about most — each page has local notes on venues, access and parking.

Outer London is where most of our London work happens. The south-west suburbs — Richmond, Kingston, Wimbledon and Twickenham — have big gardens, river clubs and a steady run of private parties. Further round, Croydon and Bromley combine a large office base with leafy residential streets that run out to the Surrey and Kent borders. In the west, Chiswick, Ealing and Fulham bring family houses, school communities and sports clubs.
Inner London is more about businesses: offices with terraces, courtyards and roof spaces in Central London, converted industrial spaces in East London, and company days out in parks and sports grounds. Parks are popular but rarely a free-for-all — councils and the Royal Parks usually require permission for catered events, and many restrict barbecues and open flames. We help you ask the right questions early.
A whole pig with crackling, stuffing and apple sauce is the classic; a spit-roast lamb suits pork-free guests and summer weddings; and a BBQ gives everyone a choice. Many London events combine two. See our hog roast catering and lamb roast catering pages for how each is cooked and served.

See the menuBBQ catering is often the best fit for London. A BBQ set-up is more compact than a full hog roast machine, which helps on terraces, courtyards and smaller gardens, and it gives guests plenty of choice: burgers, sausages, chicken, halloumi and plant-based options with salads and fries.
It also moves a lunchtime office queue quickly. The BBQ catering page explains how it works, and our BBQ menu shows example packages. Not sure which to choose? Our guide to hog roast vs BBQ sets out the differences.

London weddings that use us tend to be relaxed ones: a garden reception at a family home in the suburbs, a marquee on a sports-club field, a riverside celebration in the south-west, or a warehouse party in the east where the couple want proper food rather than canapés. Hog roast rolls are also a favourite evening option when the main meal has been served by the venue.
Many London wedding venues have in-house caterers or an approved list, so it's always worth checking whether outside catering is allowed for the evening or for outdoor areas. Our wedding hog roast page covers menus, timings and how we plan for dietary needs.
Wedding hog roasts in LondonCompany summer parties, client events, team days and Christmas lunches are a big part of our London work. The capital's offices vary hugely — a business park in Croydon or west London is a very different set-up from a City building with a shared roof terrace — so we always start with the space, the building rules and the service window.
For corporate events we'll work directly with facilities or building managers on access, loading, gas and fire rules, and send the paperwork they usually ask for. More on how we run larger staff events is on our corporate catering page, and the guide to planning a corporate BBQ is a useful checklist.
Corporate hog roast & BBQ cateringLondon gardens are often long and narrow, reached through the house or a side passage, and that's fine — we've planned plenty of set-ups around exactly that. Birthday parties, christenings, anniversaries, street parties and summer get-togethers all suit a hog roast, and it takes the cooking off the host's hands entirely.
Tell us about the access and where we could park, and we'll work out the rest. See private party catering and birthday party catering for menu ideas.

Around 150 staff on a shared terrace with a strict no-LPG rule from the building. A compact BBQ-style service with pre-roasted, carved pork kept hot at the counter, a 90-minute service window, and all equipment brought up in the goods lift at an agreed time.
Seventy guests, access through a side gate and permit parking on the street. We arranged a visitor permit with the host, set up the hog roast on the patio, and served pork rolls, a vegetarian main and three salads from a gazebo counter.
A converted industrial unit with a yard outside, around 200 guests and a late-afternoon start. Hog roast and BBQ cooked in the yard, food served inside from two counters, and a vegan option cooked and served separately with clear labelling.
A playing field, several hundred visitors spread across an afternoon, and a PTA keen to keep prices simple. Pork rolls, burgers and veggie options served from one counter, with a steady flow rather than a single rush.
Every menu comes with the salads, sides, breads and sauces that turn a roast into a proper meal — homemade coleslaw, leaf and tomato salads, potato salad, fries or sweet potato fries, and new potatoes in cooler months. Our guide to choosing your sides has ideas.
Vegetarian and vegan mains are cooked separately on request and clearly labelled, and allergen information is available for every dish. Read our allergen and dietary information before booking if any guests have allergies.
The whole of Greater London is inside the Ultra Low Emission Zone, and central addresses may also fall inside the Congestion Charge zone. We plan vehicles, routes and arrival times around both, and allow for London traffic when we set our start times.
Parking is usually the deciding factor. Tell us whether there's a driveway, a loading bay, a car park or only permit-controlled street parking; for residential streets, a visitor permit or parking suspension arranged through the council can make the day much smoother. Some buildings and venues restrict gas bottles or open flames, and parks usually need permission from the council or the Royal Parks — send us any rules you've been given and we'll confirm what's possible.
Send the date, postcode, rough guest numbers and the kind of food you have in mind. A few lines is plenty to start.
We'll suggest a menu, service style and timings that suit the event, and send a clear written quote. Tweak it as much as you like.
Final numbers, dietary requirements, access, parking and timings are agreed in writing ahead of the day, so there are no surprises.
We arrive early, cook everything fresh on site, serve your guests from our counter, and leave the space clean and tidy.
Yes. We cater across Greater London, with most of our work in the outer boroughs and business districts. Send us the postcode and a note on parking and access, and we'll confirm quickly.
Often, but it needs permission. Councils and the Royal Parks usually require an event application for catering, and many parks restrict barbecues or open flames. Check with the park's events team first; we're happy to supply the insurance and food safety paperwork they're likely to ask for.
It's something we plan for rather than something you need to arrange. ULEZ covers all of Greater London and the Congestion Charge applies in the central zone at certain times, so we factor routes and timings into our planning for every London job.
In many cases, yes, but building rules come first. Some buildings don't allow gas or open flames on roofs or terraces, and lift sizes can limit what we bring. A compact BBQ or a pre-carved service is often the answer — we'll talk it through with your facilities team.
Send the date, postcode and rough guest numbers — we'll reply with menu ideas and a clear quote.
