Allergens & Dietary Requirements
We want every guest to be able to eat well. Here's how we plan for dietary requirements, what information we provide, and the limits of what any mobile caterer can promise.
Tell us early
Please tell us about dietary requirements and allergies when you enquire, and confirm final numbers before the event. The earlier we know, the better we can plan — including separate cooking and serving for vegetarian and vegan dishes, and suitable alternatives for guests with allergies.
For weddings and corporate events, we recommend collecting dietary information with RSVPs or registration, including the guest's name, so we can make sure the right food reaches the right person.
Vegetarian and vegan guests
Every menu includes proper vegetarian and vegan mains — not just the salad bowls. When requested, we cook them on separate grill or cooking space with separate utensils, and serve them from a clearly labelled area.
Several of our sides are vegetarian or vegan as standard, and these are marked on our sample menus.
Allergen information
We can provide information on the 14 major allergens present in each dish we serve, as required by UK food information law. Ask a member of the team on the day, or ask us before the event.
Our food is prepared and cooked in environments that handle all 14 major allergens, and outdoor event catering involves shared spaces. While we take care to reduce the risk of cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free from allergens or traces of them. Guests with severe allergies should speak to us before the event so we can discuss what is and isn't possible.
Religious and cultural requirements
If guests need food prepared to particular religious or cultural requirements, please discuss this with us at enquiry stage. A lamb roast or pork-free BBQ menu can often work well. We'll be clear about what we can source and how food will be prepared and cooked on the day, rather than making promises we can't keep.
