The terms that apply when you book catering with us. Your quote and booking confirmation set out the specific details of your event.
Before publishing
PLACEHOLDER — the bracketed figures (deposit, final numbers deadline, cancellation periods) must be replaced with your actual terms and the page reviewed by a legal adviser.
1. Quotes and bookings
Quotes are valid for [30] days and are based on the information you give us, including guest numbers, menu, location and timings. A booking is confirmed when we have received your signed acceptance or written confirmation and the deposit, and we have sent a booking confirmation.
2. Deposits and payment
A deposit of [X% / £X] is payable to secure your date. The balance is due [X days before the event / on invoice]. Corporate clients may be invoiced on agreed terms.
3. Final numbers and menu
Final guest numbers, menu choices and dietary requirements must be confirmed at least [14] days before the event. Numbers may be increased after this date subject to availability; reductions after this date may not be refunded.
4. Venue, access and site
You are responsible for obtaining any permission needed from the venue or landowner for us to cook and serve on site, and for telling us about access restrictions, ground conditions and venue rules. We will need a reasonably level area for our equipment and safe access for our vehicle or equipment. Additional charges may apply if access differs significantly from what was described.
5. Weather
We cook under cover and will operate in most weather. Shelter for guests is the client's responsibility unless agreed otherwise. We may modify the set-up if weather conditions make it unsafe to operate as planned.
6. Cancellation
If you cancel, the deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations within [X] days of the event are charged at [X%] of the quoted total. If we have to cancel for reasons beyond our control, we will refund all payments made.
7. Allergens
We will make reasonable efforts to cater for dietary requirements notified in advance but cannot guarantee any food is free from allergens. See our allergen and dietary information.
8. Liability
We hold public liability insurance [PLACEHOLDER: level of cover]. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
