Christmas food that feels like an occasion

The Christmas party is the one event of the year where everyone expects the food to feel special. A carved roast turkey, a festive hog roast with sage and onion stuffing, crisp pigs in blankets and all the sauces: it's the familiar flavours of Christmas, served hot and generously, without anyone having to wrestle a tray out of an oven.

We cook everything on site, carve to order and staff the counter, which makes our Christmas party catering a good fit for offices, warehouses, business parks, community halls and private venues that lack a full kitchen. For outdoor gatherings we can run a winter grill or a hot-roll service that keeps people warm and fed while they mingle.

Our Christmas menu has the full list of dishes. Everything can be adapted to your group and your budget.

Office and corporate Christmas parties

Corporate Christmas catering has different pressures from a family party. You may be feeding a whole site at once, working around shift patterns, or hosting in a space designed for meetings rather than meals. We plan service so everyone gets fed quickly: a carvery counter for a sit-down lunch, or a roll service that lets people eat standing while they chat.

We regularly cater for office Christmas parties held in the workplace itself, in function rooms and in marquees on business parks. Some teams prefer a festive lunch in the canteen before an evening out; others want an outdoor gathering in the car park or courtyard with hot food and mulled drinks from the venue. Both work well.

For year-round events and summer staff days, see our main corporate catering page. For more festive inspiration, read our Christmas party catering ideas.

Popular corporate formats

  • Festive carvery lunch in the office or canteen
  • Hot festive rolls for an outdoor site gathering
  • Evening party food in a hired hall or marquee
  • Staggered service for teams on different shifts

Indoor or outdoor? Both can work in winter

Indoors, we set up the carvery or serving counter inside your venue and cook on equipment positioned wherever the venue allows, often just outside a fire exit or in a covered loading area. Many halls and offices are happy with this arrangement; some prefer everything cooked outside and brought in hot. We'll agree the right approach with you and your building manager.

Outdoors, the festive hot-roll concept really shines. Picture a lit serving gazebo, the smell of roasting pork and sizzling pigs in blankets, and guests queuing in their coats for something warm to hold. It's ideal for outdoor corporate events, Christmas markets run by a club or school, and yard parties at industrial sites.

Either way, the food arrives piping hot and is served fresh, so it doesn't matter if the party runs a little behind schedule.

Winter logistics to think about

December events need a little more planning than summer ones. Here's what to consider.

  • Shelter: we need a covered area to cook and serve under. We can often bring gazebos, but a canopy, loading bay or marquee is ideal.
  • Lighting: it's dark by late afternoon. Make sure the path from your guests to the counter is well lit.
  • Heating: keeping guests warm is the venue's or host's responsibility, so arrange patio heaters or an indoor space if you need one.
  • Access: frost and mud can make grass tricky. Hardstanding near the cooking area helps.
  • Timings: plan food earlier than you would in summer if the party is outdoors, before temperatures drop.
  • Numbers: confirm numbers and dietary needs early, as December schedules leave less room for last-minute changes.

Vegetarian, vegan and dietary needs at Christmas

Every office party has a mix of diets, and a Christmas meal shouldn't leave anyone with just the sprouts. We offer proper vegetarian and vegan festive mains and alternatives such as plant-based sausages, and we'll cook and serve them separately where you ask us to.

Every dish on the counter is labelled, and we're happy to discuss allergies ahead of the event. Because our kitchens handle a range of allergens we can't rule out traces, but we'll give you full information so you can pass it on to your team.

Christmas party catering FAQs

When should we book Christmas party catering?

As early as you can. The first three weeks of December are our busiest period, and Thursday and Friday dates go first. Late November and early January parties are easier to secure.

Can you serve a Christmas dinner-style meal for our office?

Yes. A roast turkey carvery with stuffing, pigs in blankets, cranberry sauce, gravy and seasonal sides is one of our most popular festive options.

Can you cook outdoors in December?

Yes, as long as we have a covered area to cook and serve under and the serving point is well lit. Heating for guests is arranged by the venue or host.

Do you cater for Christmas parties inside offices and halls?

We do. We'll agree with you and your venue where the cooking happens and set up the serving counter inside. Some buildings ask for the cooking to be outside, which is no problem.

Is a festive hog roast a good alternative to turkey?

Very much so, and plenty of groups have both. Pork with crackling, stuffing and cranberry sauce makes a great festive roll or carvery plate.

What vegetarian and vegan options are there at Christmas?

We offer festive vegetarian and vegan mains and alternatives such as plant-based sausages, cooked and served separately on request and clearly labelled.
