Houses around the Village and the Common often have large gardens and good access, perfect for a full hog roast set-up. Lower down, Victorian terraces have narrower access, so we plan around side returns and through-house carries. Controlled parking covers much of the area, and during the tennis the roads get very busy — we check the dates when planning.
Wimbledon Common is managed by conservators with their own rules on events and fires, so a catered event there needs permission. Schools, sports clubs and church halls host summer fairs and fundraisers, and offices in the town centre use us for staff events.
