Our hog roast service in Greenwich
Greenwich has a maritime character like nowhere else in London. The Royal Observatory looks down over Greenwich Park to the Old Royal Naval College and the Cutty Sark, and the whole riverside is part of a World Heritage Site. Beyond it, the Royal Borough takes in Blackheath's edge, Charlton, Eltham, Woolwich and the regenerated Greenwich Peninsula.
We cater hog roasts, lamb roasts and BBQs across Greenwich — private parties, school and community events, and office events on the Peninsula and around Woolwich. Everything is cooked on site and carved to order.
We cater across Greenwich as part of our hog roast catering in London and the wider South East London area. For the full picture of how we work, see our our hog roast service page.
Where we cater in Greenwich
Houses around Blackheath, Westcombe Park and Eltham often have good-sized gardens, and many have driveways. Newer developments on the Peninsula and in Woolwich have shared courtyards and roof terraces, where building rules on cooking apply. Schools, sports clubs and community centres are busy all summer.
Greenwich Park is a Royal Park, and Blackheath is council-managed; both need permission for catered events. ULEZ applies, and traffic around the Blackwall Tunnel and the A2 can be slow at peak times, so we plan arrivals carefully.

BBQ catering in Greenwich
Our BBQ catering in Greenwich runs on the same principle as the hog roast — cooked fresh in front of your guests, with none of the work landing on the host. Expect burgers, sausages, chicken and proper veggie options, plus salads, fries and every sauce you'd want.
For shared courtyards and roof terraces in newer Greenwich developments, a compact BBQ is often the most practical choice.

Events we cater in Greenwich
Wedding hog roasts
Greenwich weddings with a garden or community-hall reception suit a hog roast well, and couples who marry in the historic riverside setting often want relaxed food for the party afterwards. We also bring evening pork rolls and BBQ to venues that allow outside caterers.

Offices on the Peninsula and in Woolwich use us for summer parties and team events. We check building rules and suggest a BBQ where space or cooking rules are tight.
Catering for company eventsBirthday & private parties
Birthdays and summer parties in the gardens of Blackheath, Charlton and Eltham are regular bookings. Houses towards Eltham tend to have drives and space; closer to the river, streets are tighter and permit-controlled, so we'll talk through parking early.
Birthday party catering · Hog roasts for private partiesWhat we cook
Pork hog roast
Our pork is slow-roasted whole on site and hand-carved at the counter as guests come up. Rolls with stuffing, apple sauce and crackling are the favourite; a plated buffet works well when it's the main meal.
Hog roast menuLamb roast
A whole lamb on the spit gives the same sense of occasion as a hog roast with a lighter, herby feel. Serve it in flatbreads with minted yoghurt, or plated with potatoes and gravy.
Lamb roast cateringBBQ options
Burgers, sausages and chicken for the meat-eaters, with halloumi, vegetable skewers and plant-based options cooked separately for everyone else.
BBQ packagesSides & salads
A roast without good sides is just meat in a bun. We make coleslaw and salads fresh, cook fries and sweet potato fries on site, and can add new potatoes, corn on the cob or a Greek-style salad depending on the season and the crowd.

Vegetarian, vegan & dietary options
Every menu includes real vegetarian and vegan mains — halloumi, vegetable skewers, veggie burgers or plant-based sausages — cooked separately when requested and served from a labelled area. Tell us about allergies and other requirements when you enquire and we'll plan around them; our food is prepared where common allergens are handled, so we can't guarantee any dish is allergen-free.

Hog roast FAQs for Greenwich
Can we have a hog roast in Greenwich Park?
Greenwich Park is a Royal Park with strict rules on events and open cooking, so formal permission is needed. A private garden or club ground is usually simpler.
Do you cater at developments on the Greenwich Peninsula?
Yes, where building management allows cooking. We'll check the rules on gas, lifts and loading before confirming.
Can guests with dietary requirements be catered for?
Yes. Vegetarian and vegan mains are cooked separately on request and labelled, and allergen information is available for every dish. See our allergen and dietary information.
