Two rivers shape Reading. The Thames runs along its northern edge, separating the town centre from Caversham, and the Kennet cuts right through the middle past the ruins of the old abbey before joining it. Add the M4 across the south, a major rail junction and the Elizabeth line, and you have the Thames Valley's biggest commercial centre — offices in town, business parks by the motorway, and a large university campus at Whiteknights.

Where we cater in Reading
Business parks near the motorway junctions and offices around the station generate most of our weekday bookings: summer socials, family days, team lunches and Christmas events. Weekends swing towards homes and clubs. Caversham and Emmer Green have hillside gardens above the river, Tilehurst and Calcot bring big family parties, and Earley and Woodley add rugby, cricket and school events. Just upstream, Sonning and Pangbourne are the riverside villages where summer parties and small weddings happen.
Town-centre streets are tight and heavily controlled for parking, so for terraced houses in east Reading or near the university we'll ask where we can stop to unload. Business-park sites are the opposite — plenty of hard standing, but usually with a sign-in and a named contact on the day.

Hog roast FAQs for Reading
Can you cater for staff on a Reading business park with limited set-up time?
Yes. Tell us when the site opens to suppliers and when food needs to be ready. We arrive early enough to cook through, and for large numbers we add a second serving point so the lunch window isn't lost to queuing.
We live on a terraced street in Reading. Is there room for a hog roast?
Often, yes. If the back garden has no side access, we may cook at the front or on a nearby drive and carry carved food through, or suggest a BBQ, which needs less space. Photos of the route in help us plan.
